One 2 ounce bottle (and 4 pounds of household cane sugar) will make 4 gallons of rich soda using the traditional mix and carbonate method. You can also carbonate with dry champagne yeast, although this can be unreliable, and should only be done in plastic bottles to prevent possible injury.
