Bentonite is a clay-based clarifier that absorbs colloidal substances. Usually added prior to fermentation, sometimes during secondary to wine. Not recommended for beer, as it may harm head retention.For fining. Usage 1/2 tsp, per gallon, mixed well in hot water.
